History Class we're learning ancient history about the lands across the sea And ancient peoples lives are spread All over here inside my head Napoleon,  Emperor of France Was smart but never good at dance Queen Elizabeth I have heard  Was very good with public words All these things and many more Are learned if trying hard is born.

The Flower Garden

A flower garden soft and sweet Is filled with roses at your feet The gentle winged butterfly Is flittering by black susan's eye The grass that's growing at my toes Is cut as short as mower goes

First Blog post

Hi my name is Amelia Murdock and this is my poetry blog first post. I write poetry and descriptions and I want to start writing a book soon. I sure hope you like this post and here is my first poem that I ever remember writing. I was like seven or eight.                        Once I went ajogging,                        And sang a pretty song                         And when I went ajogging home I sang the song again.
